Segment-to-buyer worksheet

Thirteen short fields that take you from a use case to a decision rule. Fill them in order, and keep each answer small enough to defend.

Worksheet fields

Fictional sample: an invented implementation-coordination scenario, not a customer result. Loading it replaces your current text.

1. Situation

Describe the job customers already do with your product, in one or two sentences. Required for download.

Name the group of companies for your next test and how you could find a manageable list. Required for download.

What visible event or condition makes this segment feel the problem now?

What have customers or prospects actually done, not said? Mark guesses as guesses.

2. Buyers

Title and daily work of the person who feels the problem.

Who would argue for a change internally, and what do they gain?

Who can approve spending? Write unknown if you do not know.

Contracts, reviews, integrations or owners that could stop a yes.

3. Test and decision

Segment, trigger, claim, and what you have seen. Not a quota. Required for download.

List, message angle, send window and review date.

How many follow-ups, how far apart, and what each adds.

What you will do if replies describe the problem, if they do not, and if there is silence. Required for download.

What a good conversation turns into: next step, date, who joins, open unknowns.
